Nicolas de Ribou (France, 1983) lives and works between Belgium, France and Spain. He developps independent curatorial projects since 2009, and has worked as production manager at Le Fresnoy (France, 2009-2011), collection manager at Family Servais Collection (Belgium, 2011-2016), and was also the artistic director of Poppositions, the alternative art fair in Brussels (Belgium, 2016) and Supersimetrica, international gathering of independant art spaces in Madrid (Spain, 2018). His research aims at understanding the emergence of artistic practices in different territories and contexts. What do they give us to see and understand about our societies and the world we’re living in? How do they help us to build a relation to the others? How do they help us to understand History but also put into question our certitude or the ones that some want to impose us?
