Curated by Anna Filippova
Anna Filippova (Ukraine) is an art critic, curator and trauma studies researcher. ICOM and CIMAM member. Anna graduated from the master's program in cultural studies.

Her articles and critical texts are devoted concepts of trauma in art, the nature of the formation of this phenomena. Based on theoretical research she analyzes artworks through different approaches and concepts as individual, collective, historical or cultural trauma. It raises the following questions: how to think trauma? How to transmit the unimaginable? Is it possible to overcome trauma through art?
Anna’s recent text “History of one apartment” won the 10th Stedley Art Critics Award "The Dilemma of Creative Independence” (Kyiv, Ukraine 2022). The text raises the question of the position of the artist in society, of the possibilities and impossibilities that a person faces. The text is based on a true story.
